    Brown University is looking for a Compensation Analyst to join the Compensation Services team.

    The Compensation Analyst is responsible for providing consulting support to major areas of compensation including job evaluation, completing salary surveys, salary setting and FLSA compliance. This position manages data projects, conducts data audits and ensures data integrity.  The position provides system support including providing consulting support, conducting testing, approving transactions and responding to compensation related questions.  The incumbent will provide high level support for compensation projects including conducting research, consolidating and presenting data.

     Education and Experience

     Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 3 years of related experience

     Job Competencies

            Excellent analytical skills.

            Demonstrated ability to succeed in a high-volume environment while adhering to deadlines.

            Ability to solve problems, including the ability to independently research and troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies.

            Strong data presentation skills.

            Strong proficiency in Excel, including ability to manipulate large sets of data and provide analytical support.

            Experience with Workday or a similar HR cloud-based enterprise resource planning system required.

            Strong service orientation and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

            Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

            Detail oriented.

            Demonstrated ability to support a community of diverse perspectives and cultures in an inclusive environment.
