    Location/Division Specific Information: Wilmington, MA

     OSRAM-SYLVANIA is seeking a North-America Compensation Leader to join our team in Wilmington, MA. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources.  This strategic position is responsible for the development, implementation, communication, support and administration of OSRAM’s US and Canada compensation programs as well as lead the effort in streamlining HR systems that will enable the company to attract, reward, and retain top talent. Analyzes survey data results to determine the competitiveness of the company’s compensation package. This leadership position will also play a critical role in developing content and materials for our Compensation Committee of our Board of Directors.  The candidate will also possess Benefits background as it relates to Pension Administration, Benefits Plans and Deferred Comp Plans.

    Responsibilities & Duties:
    • Collaborate and provide counsel to the Executive Team, HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition function regarding compensation solutions, issues, evaluating new positions, job bands, grade levels, job descriptions, promotions and transfers.
    • Develop and continually advance compensation strategies and programs to align with business strategy and ensure the right mix and offerings are available to attract and retain an innovative, high caliber workforce around the US and Canada. These include base pay, incentives, annual merits aligned with performance and other rewards and perquisites that are aligned with the corporate strategies.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for total rewards programs.
    • Determine a holistic approach to HR Technology to enable the HR team and business to be efficient and agile.
    • Stay abreast of compensation and benefits trends. Develop and participate in compensation surveys in order to gain understanding of market trends and changing conditions. Assess findings and impact on the Company. Manage and negotiate with third-party solution providers.
    • Prepare statistical data and reports concerning benefits/compensation activities, programs or results. Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual reports are developed in an effective and timely manner. Assess report findings and make recommendations to management as needed.
    • Champion the audit of compensation and benefits programs. Make judgments and recommendations regarding corrective actions to management.
    • Recommend compliance actions.
