    Job Description

    In this role, you have the opportunity to work on the US Rewards Team and work closely with the Benefits Team on the administration of Philips employee Health & Welfare programs and Philips Retirement plan.

    You are responsible for (but not limited to)

    • Review and reconcile monthly Business solver billing invoices and separate vendor invoices. 
    • Perform weekly/bi-weekly contribution and premium reconciliations including but not limited to; 401(k) Plans, Health Savings Account, voluntary benefit programs
    • Engage in quarterly and annual audits to satisfy compliance with ICS controls, SOX1, DCDs and the ACA; perform all activities in compliance with federal and state regulations to minimize legal risk exposure. 
    • Work with vendors on an annual/semi-annual basis to collect SOC 1, SOC 2 and Bridge Letters from Vendors.
    • Assist with preparing presentations and scheduling annual vendor meetings.
    • Support annual open enrollment activities related to communications, user acceptance testing and rate review. 
    • Coordinate with mailroom to collect rewards mail on an ongoing basis and route mail accordingly.
    • Support Sr. Benefits Specialist content management for the Philips Benefits Center and manage the functional email account.
    • Pull reports from various systems to support day-to-day benefits administration (i.e., payroll, benefits administration system).
    • Collaborate with PPS and Health Advocate to monitor/identify eligibility file issues and work with benefits specialist/benefits manager to find resolution.
    • Work with Philips People Services on escalated case resolution.

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business or other relevant discipline
    • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration for both health and welfare and 401(k) plans
    • Data management/financial analysis experience a must
    • Experience with HRIS, Benefits Administration, Payroll systems and processes
    • Hands on, high accuracy, attention to detail, analytical and numerical skills
    • Effective time management to complete operational tasks; strong problem solving and technical skills
    • Ability to work independently on day-to-day administration activities with support from the Sr. Benefits Specialist as needed.
    • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and manage to deadlines
    • Advanced Excel skills and effective writing skills
    • Team player and ability to foster/nurture relationships
    • Experience with ADP Global View, Prudential and Businessolver a plus, but not required
